About this Qualification
- Is aimed at individuals who wish to deliver the Active IQ Level 2 Award in Mental Health Awareness.
- Provides formal recognition of your knowledge of Mental Health Awareness and Mental Health First Aid.
- Does not require individuals to have prior experience or qualifications within Mental Health.
- Includes a range of resources to support you in the delivery of the Level 2 Award in Mental Health Awareness.
- Enables participants to gain the Active IQ Level 2 Award in Mental Health Awareness before delivering the qualification themselves.
Qualification Aims
- To provide an overview of the Active IQ Level 2 Award in Mental Health Awareness.
- To cover the knowledge and understanding of Mental Health Awareness and the application of knowledge of Mental Health First Aid required to achieve the Award.
- Provides support and information in relation to the two assessments as part of the Award.
- To discuss activities for teaching and learning and useful resources to help deliver the Award.
- To provide details on the supporting materials for the delivery of the Award, including E-Learning, workbook and lesson plans.
- Questions and Answers
- To give participants the opportunity to ask questions regarding course content for the Award and about delivering the qualification.
- To cover the knowledge and understanding that a learning and development practitioner requires for the external quality assurance of assessment
- Supports and enhances the successful delivery of the Active IQ Level 2 Award in Mental Health Awareness.
Entry Requirements and Progression
Learners are required to be currently working within an approved Active IQ centre and be supported by their employer in their participation.
Individuals are required to complete the relevant learning within the Active IQ Level 2 Award in Mental Health Awareness using the materials provided, before and between sessions as advised. In order to able to progress onto delivering this qualification learners are required to Pass both units of the qualification and attend both sessions of this course.
Training Programme:
The Delivering the Active IQ Level 2 Award in Mental Health Awareness programme is delivered via two interactive webinars, individual study and assessment.
Assessment:
- Participation in two webinars.
- Unit 1 Mental Health Awareness Knowledge Test.
- Unit 2 Mental Health First Aid Case Study Test.
Costs
The course fee is as follows:
- Delivering the Active IQ Level 2 Award in Mental Health Awareness: £55 + VAT per person (or £50 + VAT per person if more than three people from the same centre are attending)
