Independent End-point Assessor (IEPA) Vacancies
Active IQ is currently recruiting to expand its team of freelance assessors for its End-point Assessment (EPA) service. Vacancies exist within the following apprenticeship standards (with minimum requirements for appointment outlined).

Level 2 Leisure Team Member (Nationwide)
Minimum requirements:
- A minimum of five years recent experience of working in the leisure and/or fitness environment but does not necessarily still need to be employed in a Leisure Duty Manager role.
- Have completed a minimum of three days continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the role in the last year.
Level 3 Personal Trainer (Nationwide)
Minimum requirements:
- Have at least 12 months’ experience of responsibility for the workplace competence assessment of a Personal Trainer.
- Undertake and record planned and relevant continuous professional development. A minimum of 24 hours per annum is expected covering both vocational and assessment competence.
Level 4 Sports Coach (Nationwide)
Minimum requirements:
- Experience of coaching and assessing in a school, community or high-performance sport environment within the last 2 years.
Level 2 Facilities Services Operative
Covering any area of the UK, but specifically in London and the home counties. We can support dedicated, committed assessors to gain qualifications and experience.
Applicants should hold or be working towards a qualification to undertake assessment, (e.g. D32/33, A1/A2, TAQA) and/or have significant knowledge and expertise in providing consistent and appropriate judgements of an apprentice’s skill and ability.
However, for exceptional candidates without assessing qualifications, Active IQ can assist in gaining requisite qualifications and experience. Positions are offered on a freelance basis.
