Centre FAQs

Centre FAQs

How can my centre offer Active IQ qualifications?

To offer Active IQ qualifications, your organisation must be approved. View our Becoming Approved page for details or contact our Approvals Team on [email protected]

How much does becoming an approved centre cost?
Can I add further qualifications?

Existing centres can apply for additional qualifications through their Active Intel account. For details, visit our Additional Approval for Existing Centres page.

Is it acceptable for the same person to be both the tutor and the assessor?

Yes, but it's not best practice long-term. Tutors/assessors must hold relevant qualifications.

How do I obtain replacement certificates?

Request replacements by completing the Replacement Certificate request form. Each eCertificate costs £15 plus VAT.

Can Direct Claim Status (DCS) be achieved?

To achieve DCS, an External Verifier (EV) needs to review a minimum of five compliant learner portfolios that include all active assessors and verifiers.

How does the EV Visit and DCS work?

Portfolios sampled during the learning journey will need summative sampling upon completion before DCS is granted.

What if we change or update qualifications with DCS?

If a qualification is changed significantly, we will require a review of the first cohort of portfolios before awarding DCS.
