He has over 35 years’ experience in the sector and has held various senior posts during his career including Global CEO of Myzone, CEO of ukactive, Chairman of the Chartered Institute for Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA), of which he is a fellow of the institute.
Dr Morgan Toerien MBChB, Clinical Director at Bodyline Clinics
Dr Morgan Toerien MBChB has a specialist interest in Weight Health, Hormone Health, LDN Treatments and Addiction. With his commitment to personalised and evidence-based care, Dr Morgan provides medical oversight of Bodyline Medical Wellness clinical treatments as well as offering support to senior members of the nursing team. He also advises on medical protocols to ensure that Bodyline is working safely, meeting best practice, and adhering to CQC and NICE guidance.

Dr Lou Atkinson, Chief Scientific Officer at The Collective
Dr Lou Atkinson is a behavioural scientist, educator and exercise professional. With a 25+ year career spanning Public Health, Fitness, Academia and MedTech, she works at the intersection of science and real-world application, passionate about translating evidence into practical, actionable strategies. Her research focuses on obesity, physical activity and chronic conditions, as well as women’s health behaviours at key life stages including pregnancy, postpartum and menopause. As a consultant and fractional executive she supports organisations in the health and fitness sectors to deliver and evaluate evidence-based products and services. She is a scientific advisor for multiple charities and professional bodies, and a passionate advocate for inclusivity in health and work.
Dr Dane Vishnubala, Chief Medical Advisor for Active IQ
Dane is a GP at Haxby Group in York, alongside his roles as an NHS Sport and Exercise Medicine doctor. In terms of sports medicine, Dane works with Great Britain Basketball, England Basketball, The Football Association, York City Football Club and York City Knights Rugby League team. His work is varied, but has a focus on musculoskeletal medicine and performance medicine. Dane is the Lead Public Health England General Practitioners’ Clinical Champion for Physical Activity in Yorkshire. The programme aims to teach a range of healthcare professionals about physical inactivity. He is also the Royal College of GPs Clinical Support Fellow for Physical Activity and Lifestyle, and a British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine executive member.
Mark Bagnall, Curriculum Manager at Future Fit Training
Mark has over two decades experience in the health and fitness industry, starting work in private gyms as an instructor, personal trainer, and strength and conditioning coach, then later into health club management. Sixteen years ago, he transitioned into education and training, where he discovered a true passion for learning and development. Since then, he's worked as a tutor, assessor and IQA, supporting a wide range of qualifications and CPD courses for corporate clients and apprenticeships. Today, Mark is proud to serve as a Curriculum Manager at Future Fit Training, where he continues championing high-quality learning provision.
Jenny Patrickson, Managing Director at Active IQ
Jenny has over 25 years of experience within the active leisure sector, leading the development of specialist health and fitness related awarding organisations to achieve year-on-year growth and excellence in service provision. Whilst developing an in-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks and their requirements, Jenny has been responsible for strategic planning, business development and business process improvement.

Lee joined Active IQ in 2008 and has been responsible for qualification development. During this time, Lee has helped to grow Active IQ’s offering from a handful of qualifications to over 100.
