Introduction
The Level 2 Certificate in Introductory Work in the Outdoors provides learners with an introduction to outdoor sport and active leisure. This course covers vital elements to Outdoor Work, such as health and safety, safeguarding, hospitality and organisation of both participants and outdoor activity sessions. Learners will be trained to a professional level allowing them to plan and deliver safe but effective exercises in an outdoor environment.

Qualification structure
The learner must complete both units in the Mandatory Group A (5 credits) and a minimum of 5 credits from completion of one of the optional unit groups (Groups B,C or D).
