Introduction
The Level 4 Award in Understanding the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice is designed to provide learners with an understanding of how to externally quality assure assessment processes and practice.
During the qualification learners will cover:
- The principles and practices of externally assuring the quality of assessment.
- How to externally evaluate the quality of assessment and internal quality assurance.
- How to plan the external quality assurance of assessment.
- How to maintain and improve internal quality assurance processes.
Entry requirements
Learners must be aged 19+.
Learners must hold a recognised internal quality assurance qualification.
There is an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learners should have basic skills in communication pitched at Level 3.
Qualification structure
Learners must complete the one mandatory unit.
